One Response to Brown Bulletins

  1. Bonjour chez vous,

What a fabulous surprise to find on line those issues of the BROWN BULLETIN.

Through the collection a my friend, historian Hervé Tremblay, of La Tuque, who got an important number of issues from madame Odette Leclerc, I was able to discover a lots of precious details about Sanmaur and Chaudière Dépot, where I lived (1947-1953).

This periodical is an essential resource to write the industrial history of La Tuque and the Upper St. Maurice Valley during the first half of the ninetenth century.

    Best regards.

Pierre Cantin (ex-resident of La Tuque)
    Chelsea-upon-Gatineau, Québec.

    P. S. Those interested by the history of the Brown Corporation will find in Mr. Tremblay’s blog

    http://latuquehistoire.blogspot.com/

many facts and news about the La Tuque mill.
